ASO CHAPEL, TOKYO - THERESSA & ERWIN

Theresa and Erwin were married at ASO Chapel, under a glass ceiling that filled the room with soft light, chandeliers hanging above like they’d always belonged there. The space felt warm, old-world, and full of people who genuinely cared about them. During his vows, Erwin surprised everyone by proposing again — not for show, but because he wanted to do it properly, in front of the people who mattered most. There were tears, honest speeches. Just people saying what they really mean, and meaning it.

WHEN TEARS  DANCED

After the ceremony, everyone drifted into the main dining room, lit by a single chandelier and softened by candlelight. The space felt warm and close, like it was holding everyone together. The speeches were unguarded and tender, and almost everyone in the room seemed to cry at least once. No one tried to hide it.

Later, the evening loosened. There were games, then cake, then dancing. The children joined in without hesitation, moving with an ease the adults couldn’t match. By then, no one was trying to keep things composed anymore.
